1945

FELCO founded by Felix Flisch. A small workshop with four workers in it.

1946

First exports of FELCO tools throughout the world.

1948

Launch of the FELCO 2, the original

Complete range of cable-cutters created, with an innovative feature: triangular cutting.

1966

Release by FELCO of revolutionarily ergonomic tools with rotating handles.

1974

Release of FELCO 70, first pneumatic secateurs.

1978

FELCO changes its statutes and becomes a limited company (familial shareholding).

From 1989 onwards

Development of the retailing network of FELCO; founding of several retailing subsidiaries: FELCO Belgium (Benelux), FELCO France, FELCO Australia, FELCO Deutschland, FELCO Africa, FELCO Canada and FELCO USA.

1991

Launch of the FELCOtronic FELCO 80, first generation of electric pruning shears with electronic control.

1995

50th anniversary of FELCO.

2003

FELCO led by the third generation of directors. Laurent Perrin takes over from Eric Perrin, who headed the company from 1972 to 2002

2005

60th anniversary of FELCO, which also wins the First Prize of the Swiss Venture Club

2014

Partnership Agreement between FELCO, FELCO Motion, STIHL and VIKING.

2015

Solar generation system with a 100kW capacity installed on the roof of FELCO. It covers 5% of the electricity requirements.

2016

Release of a new FELCOtronic: FELCO 811.
